Partner perspective

Owlet has always believed technology can give families greater insight and confidence during some of the most important moments of their lives. Our partnership with VillageFor creates an opportunity to expand that support beyond the baby and think more holistically about the mother, too. By bringing together the insights families have about their babies with a better understanding of how mothers are doing, we have the potential to change what support looks like for the whole family.”

Canary Speech and VillageFor Partner to Bring Voice-Based Mental Wellness Check-Ins to Mothers

Another way to check in. In your own voice.

VillageFor’s partnership with Canary Speech adds vocal analysis to Voice Journal, helping women follow their emotional well-being between appointments. Vocal biomarkers sit alongside screenings, mood check-ins and Insights to help women better understand changes over time.

The wellness assessment is designed for regular self-check-ins and does not diagnose a mental health condition.

Ask Her Twice · New York City · Oct 7, 2026

“I’m fine” shouldn’t end the conversation.

Guests seated at tables face a five-person panel in front of a large Ask Her Twice banner

At the Glass Rooftop at Luminary in New York City, VillageFor brought together maternal mental health advocates, clinicians, solution providers, fathers and partners for Ask Her Twice: a conversation about what mothers are carrying, and how the village around them can respond.

Across two panels, we explored the gaps in maternal mental health support and the roles families, brands and systems play in helping a mom feel heard and supported. The conversation reached beyond pregnancy and postpartum to trying to conceive, loss, NICU experiences and the chapters too often left out.

The event began a bigger invitation: ask again, make room for the real answer, and stay for the conversation that follows.

Honor Wall

Read hers. Then write yours.

The conversation continues on the Honor Wall, where moms share what motherhood feels like beyond the photos, expectations and automatic “I’m fine.”

Read the experiences other moms have put into words. Then add your own, with your name or anonymously. The joy, the grief, the uncertainty, the parts you love and the parts you weren’t prepared for: there is room for all of it here.

We built the support we wished existed.

The new VillageFor launches Oct 10, 2026, with more ways to understand how you’re doing and bring the people you trust into your support.

Your mental health changes over days, weeks and months. Your support should be able to change with you.

Voice Journal

45 seconds. A new way to understand how you’re doing.

Some days, it’s hard to explain how you feel. Other days, you’re so busy getting through everything that you haven’t stopped to check in with yourself.

Voice Journal gives you a way to pause, talk and learn more about yourself. Powered by Canary Speech’s vocal biomarker technology, it analyzes acoustic patterns in a 45-second recording and gives you results across Mood, Stress and Overall Wellness.

  • Mood
  • Stress
  • Overall Wellness

Talk about the night you had. The appointment you’re waiting for. The things you haven’t said out loud. Then follow your results alongside mood check-ins and weekly assessments to see how you’re doing across days, weeks and months.

One difficult day can feel like everything. A better week can pass without you noticing. Seeing your patterns gives you more to reflect on, and more to bring into a conversation about the support you need.

Your recordings are deleted after analysis. Voice Journal is not diagnostic.

My Village

“Let me know if you need anything” becomes actual help.

You can be surrounded by love and still be carrying too much alone. The people closest to you may want to help without knowing what you need, what you’re going through or where to begin.

My Village brings them into the experience with you.

Invite the people you trust and decide what each person can see. Give them a clearer understanding of your chapter of motherhood through personalized Ways to Support, and send requests for the help that would make a difference.

  • Take the next feed.
  • Come with me to the appointment.
  • Bring dinner.
  • Give me an hour to sleep.
  • Ask how I’m doing, and stay for the answer.

Your village gets guidance. You get a way to ask beyond “I’m fine.” Village Plus includes space for up to five trusted supporters.

Village Plus

Your mental health. Your village. Finally connected.

You deserve to understand how you’re doing and have support that reaches into your everyday life. Village Plus connects Voice Journal with My Village, giving you more insight into yourself and the people you trust a clearer way to show up.

  1. Hear more in your own voice.

Turn a 45-second recording into Mood, Stress and Overall Wellness results. Follow those results alongside mood check-ins and weekly assessments to understand your patterns over time, with more to reflect on and share when you need support.

  2. Make help specific.

Bring up to five trusted supporters into My Village, choose what each person can see and send requests for what would actually help: a meal, company at an appointment, the next feed or time to rest. Personalized Ways to Support give your villagers guidance for the chapter you’re living.

  3. Keep your village connected.

Use two-way chat to talk directly with your supporters and a shared calendar to coordinate plans. Your needs, conversations and plans have a place together, so asking for help can lead to something concrete.

A way to see how you’re doing. A way to say what you need. A village with the guidance to act on it.

A free place to start.

VillageFor’s core remains free. Check in with your mood, complete weekly EPDS-US assessments and see your patterns through Insights. Write what’s on your mind, find grounding tools and explore educational resources for the chapter you’re living.

Every feeding journey deserves support.

Feeding your baby can hold so many emotions at once. The relief when something finally works. The worry about whether they’re getting enough. The exhaustion of pumping around the clock. The disappointment when feeding looks different than you imagined.

Breastfeeding, formula, pumping or a combination: there is no single way to feed a baby. There is also no reason the mom should have to carry everything around it alone.

The next feed. The clean bottles. The supplies for tomorrow. The questions in the middle of the night. Feeding can take up hours of your day and so much of your mental space, especially when you’re running on broken sleep or feeling pressure to get it “right.”

That is why VillageFor and Comotomo are partnering to support the baby and the mom in the middle of it all.

Comotomo creates feeding products for the everyday moments of early parenthood. VillageFor gives moms a place to check in with how they’re feeling and bring the people they trust closer to the support they need.

With My Village, that support can become specific: take the next feed, wash the bottles, give me an hour to sleep, check in on me, too.

Whatever feeding looks like for your family, your mental health deserves a place in the conversation.
